Coverage from six tracking cameras of the first in-silo launch of a liquid fueled ICBM, Titan VS-1, code named "Silver Saddle," and carrying a dummy second stage from the Silo Launch Test Facility (SLTF). The test was to confirm the silo launcher configuration and the feasibility of launching from within an underground silo. 3 reels, 16mm analyzed. Reel 1: Tracking camera coverage from two sites of Titan VS-1 launch at the SLTF showing ground-level surface of the silo as it appears during initial under-ground ignition with flames escaping from silo ducts, missile emerging and climbing. 690' Total footage in reel.
